Jon Wilgren in service was just great. I had a warranty issue and had to wait over a month on parts. Every time I need the rental extended I simply had to shoot Jon a text. Top notch service!!!!

He was extremely responsive, answered all of my questions, and made the entire buying process easy and straightforward. I never felt pressured, and he was always willing to take the time to make sure I had the information I needed. 10/10 . About a week after the purchase, I had a small issue that I brought in to have them look at. I worked with Jeremiah on that, and again, 10/10. He was great to work with and made sure the issue was taken care of. I’ve had some not-so-great experiences with car dealerships in the past, but I can’t say enough good things about the folks at Hudson Chevrolet. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to Luther Hudson Chevrolet GMC for service over the past year, and overall I’ve had a very positive experience with the dealership, especially the service department. I’ve had both Jon and Nic as service advisors, and I truly appreciate their help and professionalism. This location is much closer and more convenient for me than the original selling dealer, Luther Brookdale Chevrolet, so I started bringing my vehicles here for service and have continued to do so because of the experience. Communication has always been excellent, turnaround times are quick, and estimates are accurate and provided on time. One thing I especially appreciate is the transparency throughout the entire process. I know the pricing upfront, and they always provide an MPI so I can clearly see what’s going on with my vehicle, what may need attention soon, and what services are due. There’s never any pressure—just honest information that allows me to make my own decision. I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by how reasonable their service pricing is. In some cases, it has actually been better than independent shops. Things like a $22 tire rotation and around $130 for a four-wheel alignment are hard to beat at a dealership. Jon and Nic make the entire service experience easy and stress-free, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers. I would highly recommend the service department. My experience with the sales side has unfortunately been more mixed. Rachel Fogard has been great to work with. She’s friendly, helpful, professional, and someone I would gladly work with again. My experiences with Sales Manager Dale Reeves, however, have consistently been very different. In every interaction I’ve had with him, I’ve felt his communication was rude and that there was a lack of respect toward me as a customer. Having worked in the automotive industry myself for several years, I understand that sales managers sometimes need to be direct and firm when working a deal. There is still a difference, though, between being direct and making a customer feel disrespected. My interactions with Dale have unfortunately reminded me of the old-school sales-manager mentality that I think the automotive industry has been trying to move away from. That experience has ultimately influenced my decision not to purchase a vehicle here, despite being very happy with Rachel and wanting to continue doing business with the dealership. That said, one sales manager does not make an entire dealership bad. I think it’s important to give credit where it’s due. Rachel has been great, and Jon and Nic have consistently provided excellent service. I’ll continue bringing my vehicles here for service because of the experiences I’ve had with them. I just hope the professionalism, transparency, and respect I consistently receive from the service team and Rachel can eventually be reflected throughout the entire customer experience.

We greatly appreciate the outstanding service we received at Luther Hudson Chevrolet! We were travelling for a family event in June and had mistakenly been rented an electric vehicle from the airport. We were unfamiliar with electric vehicles and panicked a bit when we couldn't find an electric charging station - the ones we tried were broken or required a different connector. The rental agency mistakenly did not provide a charging cable with the car. In addition, the vehicle's key fob was not working properly. So we stopped at Luther Chevrolet and Ricky was incredibly helpful! We were especially impressed because we arrived not too long before closing time. Since we live elsewhere in the country, we're not likely to become Luther customers, however that didn't diminish Ricky's service. Our rental car was quickly charged, they key fob issue was identified, and we were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation, thanks to service that went above and beyond!

Everything met my expectations. Rachel was very helpful. The Car Fax report was appreciated and helpful making a decision to purchase.

Had my Yukon Denali repaired Thursday. Definitely the most honest Dealership I've been to!! Pricing is great, quality of the work is second to none!!! Definitely will be a return customer!!!

Jeremiah helped us out early Monday morning with a check engine light. We were planning to be on the road for 10 hours and only 45 minutes into our drive. Jeremiah met with us right at 7 am, checked the code as we waited and identified what turned out to be a minor deal. We were on our way only losing 30 minutes from our trip. Jeremiah was the perfect profesional - his customer service was spot on. I would recommend this dealership for service anytime!

Nick was an awesome salesman, very professional and knowledgeable on GMC trucks. Nick spent time with me going over all the functions of the truck so that I had a good knowledge of each function.

My family has been buying vehicles from here my entire life, and I personally have purchased many vehicles from them over the past 30 years. That’s why I’m extremely disappointed with our recent experience. We recently purchased an SUV and didn’t realize until the next day that the tires were not even the same brand. To make matters worse, one of the tires was bald in the inside. When my husband brought it back that same week while having the vehicle in for a recall, we was told there was nothing they could do about it. Really? Even the service department employee admitted that they couldn’t believe the vehicle was allowed to leave the lot in that condition. Then, while they had our SUV for the recall, they damaged the rear hatch and left a large crack in it. Thankfully, my husband noticed the damage before driving away because it appeared they weren’t even going to tell us about it. After decades of being loyal customers and purchasing multiple vehicles from this dealership, this experience has been extremely disappointing. It’s not just about the tires or the damage to the hatch — it’s about the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service. I never expected to be treated this way after all these years. Sadly, this experience has really changed the way I feel about doing business here in the future.

I made an appointment 1 week out to get new tires. 20 minutes before my appointment they call me and tell me they never ordered my tires, They never even ORDERED them. Sad

They had what I wanted for the best price around. Everything was straight forward with no surprises.

Dealership was amazing. They went above and beyond, and made me feel extra taken care of during my service experience.

Nice selection. However wanted to scan my driver's license to test drive, which is an absolute no. Sure, verify who I am and that I have a drivers license, but I am never allowing a scan or a copy of my DL into anyone's "secure" system. You can look at my DL and key in my # without having to make a copy. Too much identity theft these days and making copies of DLs doesn't help that. The salemans, a young college aged guy, was super knowledgeable and impressive. We had a nice chat as he drove me around in the new GMC AT4 1 ton but unfortunately I wasnt able to drive it myself due to their "policy". I went to a different dealer who understood, my position on not having my DL copied and was allowed to drive the truck there, which I purchased from them instead.

I had bought a 2500 HD Diesel from Tim Jubie back in 2016. I live in southern WI and my schedule was tight, so Tim had it delivered! Fast forward to 2026 and I was looking for a specific truck, a gas ZR2 or AT4-X. I called Tim and he had nothing in stock, so he had Drew King start working on it. Drew called every dealership that had one in a 300 mile radius, but no dealer would trade. Finally, after two weeks of trying, Drew got a lead on a beautiful AT4-X. Tim had to work a little magic with the dealer, but I ended up driving away with a perfect new truck!

Worked with Matt/Salesman for 3 weeks until we test drove 2 cars. Informed him at 6pm we would be back at 3pm next day to buy and he sold it the next morning to someone else.Classy place!

Highly recommend working with Nick, he was great to work with. If he didn't know something he let us know, and found the answer. Todd in Finance explained everything, and didn't just skim over things. Andrea at the front desk was fantastic as well, she was joking around with us while still getting done what needed to be done! Although we returned our vehicle we had bought, we 100% would go back because of the customer service and transparency the dealership gave us.

I can only speak for the buying and financing aspect of Luther. I was pleasantly surprised by how good my experience was. I would recommend them to others.

It was the first time and will be last only time I will deal with Hudson Luther Auto. I scheduled for a 9am oil change & tire rotation. They came and got the vehicle on time, which is was all good. I told the driver that out of curiosity if I could get a trade in value on it as well. I advised the driver and the service dept that I HAD TO HAVE my vehicle back no later than 12:15, that's over 3 hours for the appt, etc plenty of time. They sent a text to me advising that I save that number for all communications and call if I had questions. It was about 11:30am I sent a message out asking that status of my vehicle. The response was that they were still waiting for the sales dept to do the trade in value on and then they would get the vehicle into the shop as soon as they could. I tried calling the service dept from the number located on their website as well as the number that was texted to me (and said to call with any questions), I tried 3 times and all numbers said that it was an invalid number and couldn't be completed, even the number that was on their website. I wanted to call them to let them know not to touch it and to bring the it back to because I seriously had to leave for an appt. In the same time I was getting these messages the sales rep called me about the trade in. I was not happy and said that my appt for the oil change was at 9am and why the vehicle had been sitting there for 2 1/2 hours and not being touched at all!!! He said that they were waiting for diagnostic to come back and see why the vehicle was not running. I really flipped them, I said my vehicle was driven to the dealership, the response was oh yours isn't the one that came in on the tow truck??? Ahhh no not at all. In the meantime I was on the phone with the sales rep I got a text from the service dept saying that they started the service on the vehicle, well at that point I couldn't stop it in the middle of the oil change and tire rotation. I sent ANOTHER reminder that I had to have the vehicle back in 45 mins (12:15pm). By the time everything got done I got the vehicle back at 12:55pm! I completely missed an extremely important meeting and barely made it to the following appointment after that. When I did finally get a call back from the sales rep on the trade in value he stated it was this range according to KBB and that they would only give X amount cuz of rust on the rocker panels. I did a KBB on it a day or 2 prior to that and KBB's range was $4K-$6K more than what the sales rep said and I know the vehicle very well and even went out to look close at it again and there is absolutely no rust on it whatsoever. Just all around terrible experience on both sides (sales and service) of the dealership. Never ever again.

My experience here was TOP NOTCH!! Every step was explained and made us feel like we were the most important people in the dealership. Our salesman, William Sames,was a complete pleasure to deal with. I cannot stress enough how great he and everyone we dealt with was. I will definitely be going back the next time im looking for a new vehicle.
